Our new app is live  🎉 More visibility, transparency and features for your studio

We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Urban Sports Club app! We’ve been working hard to bring our partners and members an enhanced experience that will make finding locations, checking-in, and your profile better than ever.

Here are the most important changes:

✅  New Check-in Screen 

The check-in confirmation screen got a new design in our new app! From now on, a green dialog box replaces the green background and the map will remain visible in the background. Also, the member’s name is highlighted and the date and time of the check-in will be displayed better. An invalid check-in will be shown with a red dialog box. Please remember that a reimbursement through Urban Sports Club is not possible in this case. However, members can gain access at your regular prices to participate in the course.

🔐 Location-Assisted Check-In For Enhanced Transparency

In addition to our QR-code check in, we’re introducing the location assisted check-in process to increase reliability and ensure a seamless experience for everyone. This means that a member must be within 100 metres of your location to be able to scan the QR code. This added step helps maintain transparency between partners and members.

⚠️ Important: Please check in Partner Portal if your location is correct – otherwise, a check-in won’t be possible with our new app. See here how to edit your address.

ℹ️ Please note that this feature is not part of the first version but will be released in the next few weeks.

🔎 New Search Experience

With our redesigned map and search function, our partners can now be found even more quickly and easily. Previously, partners were displayed based on their distance and belonging to a city. With the new location search, the city belonging is no longer necessary and partners are only displayed based on the distance to the location of each member. Additionally, our new search bar is solely based on keyword search based on your category, venue name, class name and descriptions. 

📱 Improved Error Messages For Check-ins

Our improved error messaging system will now give our members clear reasons for any failed check-ins, helping you resolve issues quicker and to create a better understanding for  the members. Please note that we can only issue the payout for successfully checked-in members. 

🌟 Your Profile In a New Design

Make sure your profile is fully up-to-date, including your best photos! With our improved search capabilities and a new photo gallery feature, a well-maintained profile helps you stand out and makes it easier to find your partner location and activities.

🎯 Dynamic Visit Limits for Partner Profiles

We are introducing the dynamic visit limits in every partner profile! This means that members are more aware about their visit limits, leading to fewer failed check-ins because members have a better understanding of how many visits remain at your location. No more bad surprises!

With our new app, many more exciting features for partners will follow in the next months like partner ratings and a friends feature. Those features will enable our members to rate their experience every time they check in at your location, and to connect over the app and workout together. We will keep you informed about any new features via email and our newsroom

🏋️‍♀️ What You Need To Do 

Get ready and prepare yourself for the new Urban Sports Club app! In order to ensure the best possible partner and member experience for our upcoming features, we recommend you to: 

  • Check the location of your studio and make sure your pin reflect the exact location where your QR code is positioned
  • Update your trainer information for each class 
  • Upload high quality pictures to your profile(s)
  • Get familiar with the new check-in confirmation screen
